The TRIDENT platform is currently being validated for its streamlined integration of all aspects of pre-clinical evaluation to de-risk neurotherapeutics, which will then lead to better success in human clinical trials. This platform is one-of-a-kind and does not exist anywhere else in the world. TRIDENT presents limitless opportunities for research collaborations, neurotherapeutic pre-clinical testing, and industry partnerships to materialize groundbreaking innovations in neuroscience.
TRIDENT pushes the envelope on the pre-clinical evaluation process by transforming the whole process to make it more relevant to human clinical testing. First, with its unique integration of model systems of neurodegenerative diseases that span from IPSCs to organoids to humanized mice and marmosets, TRIDENT offers a one-stop-shop for pre-clinical testing of a neurotherapeutic. Second, TRIDENT, by creating translatable humanized animal models that recapitulate human symptoms, will provide models that are more closer to the human condition. Third, by using similar tests of cognition that we use in humans for testing cognitive decline in these animal models and by incorporating brain imaging at all stages of pre-clinical testing, TRIDENT will set a higher threshold for all neurotherapeutics to pass to be recommended to clinical trials, thereby maximizing the likelihood of success in clinical trials. Fourth, TRIDENT incorporates both sex- and age-specific metrics throughout the whole evaluation process, which is a rarity presently in pre-clinical testing. Last, TRIDENT also validates the therapeutics in multiple sites, which is also seldom done now.
TRIDENT partners can leverage this unique platform to bring out cutting-edge research and therapeutic innovations to treat neurodegenerative diseases.

“By leading real and lasting change in the way therapies are tested for neurodegenerative disorders, we hope to dramatically improve their chances of success in clinical trials and benefit millions of patients"

How To Partner
Seamless Administration
The TRIDENT Administrative Core provides a single point of contact to ensure a seamless and consistent partnership experience.
The team also coordinates the administration of industry and related government agency funding, and facilitates the transfer of the research output to an appropriate partner and access to the funds for research.
